Chair yoga provides a total body stretch, using the chair for to support balance. These one-hour sessions are easily modified to suit every body, whether you are a complete beginner or experienced yogi. Poses are both seated and standing, using the chair to steady our balance as needed. The chair makes the practice accessible to folks who are recovering from injury, surgery, the complications of aging, and those who are returning to physical activity after some time off.
Yoga is a great place to start your fitness quest, and a great way to supplement your current fitness program, enhancing your strength, flexibility, and balance. Yoga has been proven to ease many common ailments such as back pain, high blood pressure, arthritis, osteopenia, diabetes, anxiety and insomnia, to name a few.

The first session of the new year is a fundraiser for the Childhood Cancer winter fundraiser.
Classes are in-person at the Bowie Lions Den. Classes run in 8-class sessions for $80, or a drop-in fee of $15. You can pay in person by cash or check, or use Venmo or Cash App.
