On April 12, 2008 the Bowie Lions spent time a Camp Merrick in Nanjemoy, Maryland. The Bowie Lions helped get the some of the grounds at the camp for ready for the upcoming summer camp season. The Lions also created a unique garden space as a memorial to Lion Dale B.
