Annual Spring Book Sale
3/15/2009 The Lions annual spring book sale will be held on April 11th, at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 14900 Annapolis Road in Bowie. Used hard and soft cover books of all types, comic books, LP's, videos and CD's will also be available for sale. All proceeeds from the sale are used to help support local community projects. Used eyeglasses and hearing aids will also be collected at this event.
Camp Merrick Work Day
3/15/2008 The Bowie Lions and other Lions clubs of District 22c will participate in the annual work day at Camp Merrick.
Annual Christmas Tree Sale
11/15/2008 The Lions Annual Christmas Tree sale will start on November 30. The Lions Christmas Tree lot will be located at the corrner or RT 450 and Belair Drive. A varity of tree types and in various sizes will be available for sale on weekdays from 1pm to 10pm and on weekends from 9am to 10pm.
Lions White Cane Drive
11/1/2008 The Lions annual fall White Cane Drive will be held on November 16th and 23rd, at Safeway in the Bowie Town Center. White Cane Days to help increase awareness of the use of the white canes and the laws governing its use.
